RIE Terms of Use

RIE is a resume analysis and improvement tool designed to help users understand how effectively their resume communicates their experience and qualifications relative to a particular job opportunity.

RIE may analyze resumes and job descriptions, identify relevant capabilities, provide assessments, and suggest alternative ways to communicate existing experience.

RIE is intended to assist your judgment, not replace it.

RIE is currently provided as a beta service.

Features may change, be added, removed, interrupted, or behave unexpectedly during the beta. We may modify or discontinue portions of the service as RIE develops.

While we work to maintain a reliable service, beta software may contain errors or produce unexpected results.

RIE uses artificial intelligence to perform analyses and generate recommendations.

AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, inconsistent, or inappropriate for your particular circumstances.

You are responsible for reviewing recommendations before using them and for determining whether any suggested wording accurately represents your experience, skills, accomplishments, and qualifications.

RIE's recommendations should not be treated as statements of fact about you unless you have verified them yourself.

RIE is designed to help you communicate experience you actually possess—not to fabricate qualifications.

RIE analyzes the information you provide and may suggest alternative ways to describe your experience. However, RIE cannot independently verify your employment history, responsibilities, accomplishments, skills, education, credentials, or other professional experience.

You are the final authority on whether a recommendation truthfully and accurately represents your experience.

Before using any RIE-generated recommendation in a resume, application, or other professional material, you are responsible for reviewing it and confirming that it is accurate and supportable.

You agree not to knowingly use RIE to create false employment history, credentials, education, accomplishments, skills, certifications, or other materially misleading information.

You remain responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of any resume, application, or other material you submit to an employer.

RIE does not guarantee that:

• Your resume will pass an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
• An employer or recruiter will view or select your resume.
• You will receive an interview or job offer.
• A particular employer will interpret your experience in the manner suggested by RIE.
• RIE's analysis reflects the actual decision-making process of a particular employer, recruiter, ATS, or hiring manager.

Hiring decisions are made by third parties over whom RIE has no control.

Any scores, assessments, projected strengths, capability analyses, or similar outputs provided by RIE are analytical tools and should not be interpreted as probabilities or guarantees of employment outcomes.

You retain ownership of resumes, job descriptions, text, feedback, and other content you submit to RIE.

By submitting content, you give RIE permission to process, store, and transmit that content as reasonably necessary to provide and operate the service.

This permission does not transfer ownership of your content to RIE.

Our handling of personal information and use of third-party AI services is described in the RIE Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining control of your account and authentication credentials.

You may not intentionally access another person's account or use RIE in a way intended to circumvent account restrictions, access controls, beta capacity limits, or security protections.

During the beta, access may be limited through access codes or other enrollment restrictions.

You may not use RIE to violate applicable law or the rights of another person, attempt to gain unauthorized access to RIE or another user's information, intentionally disrupt the service, circumvent security or access restrictions, excessively query or scrape the service through automated systems, or upload malicious content intended to compromise the service.

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect RIE, its users, or its infrastructure.

RIE, including its software, interface, branding, design, and original product content, is owned by RIE or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant you ownership of RIE's software, technology, branding, or other proprietary materials.

Your own submitted content remains yours as described above.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue RIE or individual features, particularly during the beta.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.

We may also update these Terms as RIE develops. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date or otherwise providing appropriate notice.

RIE is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the extent permitted by law.

RIE does not provide legal, financial, recruiting, or employment advice.

We make no warranty that RIE's analyses, recommendations, scores, or other outputs will be accurate, complete, suitable for a particular purpose, or produce a particular employment outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RIE and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including employment decisions or opportunities based on information generated through RIE.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be prohibited by law.

You may stop using RIE at any time and may permanently delete your account through Account Settings.

We may suspend or terminate access if a user violates these Terms, abuses the service, creates security risks, or if access must otherwise be restricted as part of operating the beta.

Your use of RIE is also subject to the RIE Privacy Policy, which explains how personal information and submitted content are handled.
